Tread pattern

Initially there were only bar or lug type patterns for traction, but then came the circumferential channel or rib pattern that gave lateral grip and finally came the block pattern, a kind of combination derivative. The following is a traditional types of tread pattern for truck and bus tire.
New device for the features for TBR
Decoupling groove : Groove to fight irregular wear at shoulder rib.
Wandering defense groove : Groove to fight rut wandering wear at 2nd rib.
Edge sipe : Micro sipe at shoulder groove
Stone ejector : Elevation at bottom in grooves in tread center
Open/Solid shoulder : Open shoulder block for more wet grip and solid for stability and
  resistance to irregular
Land/sea ratio : Ratio of solid area against void in tread pattern
Pitch length : Circumferential length of tread pattern
Pitch variation : Varying pitch length into 3 or 5 different variation

Marking requirement for TBR

Various useful information for the consumers are engraved in the tire sidewall.

TBR which is for use on Trucks and busses in the U.S.A. must comply with the marking requirement of DOT (Department Of Transportation), stipulated in FMVSS119, on at least one sidewall, i.e.;

* DOT and its tire identification number
* Max load and Max press.
* Tubeless or tube type
* Radial, if a radial tire
* Load Range

*Size designation
*Max speed
*Actual numbers of plies and ply cord material
*Regroovable, if the tire is designed for regrooving

Tire composing material

Steel cords for a casing and breakers are taken out from the bobbins installed in the steel cord cabin and rubberized at the calender.

Used as casing cords,breaker, bead filler and 0 degree steel bands

Steel cords the same as one used in piano are bundled from the bobbin and rubberized.

Used as bead wires

Fabric cord like nylon or polyester are used as PCR casing or reinforcing material.

Used as PCR casing,chafer, bead reinforcing material or nylon bands
